People stay in the Borg for decades due to the "sunk cost fallacy".
And probably because of the community of friends it gives them.

The Borg as we knew it before the internet age didn't expect the ""internet age".
In the last 15 - 18 years a great "awakening" is taking place.
The Borg never anticipated that.
Up until about 2002-04 the Borg was thriving. After about 2006 the Borg was pooched with the internet. They're screwed.

The jws will attempt to to watch their jw broadcasting videos when they will only find ""no connection"" with that white spinning circle on their screens.
Panic will ensue,,,they wont know what to do & will run around like chickens with their heads cut off.
